Analog and hybrid digital video synthesizers and visual devices, hand built in the UK by Lumatic Visual Devices. We design hardware video synthesis tools for live performance, experimental visuals, and audio-reactive video, aimed at artists working with video synths and modular systems.

Based in the borderlands of Cheshire and Staffordshire, UK, we create experimental visual hardware for visual artists, musicians, and performers. Our devices are designed for video synthesis, live visuals, and audio-to-video modulation using audio, gates or CV / control voltage, and can be used standalone or alongside modular audio and video synth setups, i.e. Eurorack – sometimes referred to as video synthesisers.

We offer both DIY kits and fully assembled video synthesizer hardware, making our tools accessible to beginners and experienced visual artists alike.
