TrainDeer is my live musical project mixing breakbeats with ambient, tape loops, eurorack and utilising a mixing of my own instrument designs and software alongside Ableton live.

TrainDeer is now available as a free download for Windows and Mac.
This is a personal plugin that was put together to create dusty, textures and tones for my TrainDeer music. It uses extremely basic waveforms and modulation to create a wide variety of sounds.
It is now free to download.
EMOM streams kindly filmed the Derby EMOM held at Dubrek studios on the 19th June. It was such on honour to play alongside some amazing artists.

Everything in yellow light is a live performance recorded on the 23rd of May for Centre Space Arts. The full recording is available now from band camp.
On the 22nd May I travelled on over to Birmingham to play an EMOM set at the beautiful Centrala Space. There were some real class acts as per usual!
This month was extremely busy preparing and practicing for Centre Space Arts first HD 1.0 exhibition held at the Smithfield works in Stoke on Trent. I had the pleasure to perform a variety of different things alongside a range of different artists with different disciplines. I had the pleasure of jamming with my good friend and Electric Tentacle organiser Andy Cartridge. We basically played an hour long ambient drone set with our modular synths and tape recordings. I also played out a live noise/drone tape recorded piece over an amazing film written and produced by Darren Washington. Hopefully the start of a new collaboration between the two of us. My good friend Colin performed unbelievable live visuals throughout the entire evening that hypnotised the people that turned out and Kyle Cartlidge’s beautiful paintings were enjoyed by all.
April 2025 performances
It’s been a fun couple of weeks playing at a few EMOM events this month. I’m always shocked by the love and encouragement from people that you meet for the first time. It’s so exciting to turn up to play and immediately strike up conversations with interesting people that define the electronic music scene in the UK.
I got over to, the gorgeous, Spookton Brewery in Chester again on the 18th run by Andy and Phil. Played my regular haunt in Stoke for Electric Tentacle on the 24th alongside some really sweet acts, catching up with Colin and had the pleasure in meeting Darren and Sarah who are running some new projects in Stoke. I had an amazing evening organised by Brawny at the beautiful Haggler’s Corner in Sheffield on the 25th. That place is brilliant and they draw a real decent crowd in. Some seriously beautiful and enthusiastic people up there.

The Spookton Brewery Co in Chester is a gorgeous venue and was absolutely packed for this evenings EMOM event. I had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful people and catching up with some of the acts that I haven’t seen in a while. Can’t wait to play for the Chester EMOM again. Thanks to my good lady Helen for the pictures and video.

This evening I played my first live EMOM performance as TrainDeer at the amazing DubRek studios in Derby. An absolutely amazing venue and wonderful audience. It was an absolute pleasure to meet some new people and get to showcase some sounds alongside some awesome acts.
